Angela has a solid background and experience in negotiating, structuring and implementing concessions as well as procedures to promote private investment in the infrastructure sector. She has acted as legal counsel for both public and private entities in tender processes for the granting of concessions, in the preparation of private initiatives and public private partnerships (PPP). Within her professional experience her work at ProInversion and at Peruvian Mass Transportation Railway Authority - AATE must be highlighted, as she acted as legal advisor on the procedures and execution of concessions contracts, achieving experience in infrastructure transactions. Angela also has experience as an advisor of private entities in corporate law.
Practice focus
Angela focuses on the development, formulation and advice on processes of promotion of private investment, originated by both Private and State Initiative and in the mechanism of Works for Taxes. She provided advice to the proponent of the Private Initiative for the modernization of the Salaverry Port Terminal, which was called to tender because third parties were interested in the execution of the project and later it was awarded to the proponent. Her advice also included the adjudication of the process and the accompaniment in the closing procedure until the signing of the Contract. She also advised a prequalified bidder in the Project "Wastewater Treatment System of Lake Titicaca Basin" who later was awarded with the concession. To date she is advising a prequalified bidder in the Project "La Niña - Piura 500 kV Connection, Substations, Lines, and Associated Expansions; Pariñas - Nueva Tumbes 220 kV Connection, Substations, and Associated Expansions; and Tingo María - Aguaytía 220 kV Connection, Substations, Lines, and Associated Expansion".
