Our Firm was recognized as "Peru Firm of the Year" for the fourth consecutive year, and "Latin America Firm of the Year" for Gender Diversity, Career Development and Work-Life Balance at the Women in Business Law Americas Awards 2023, due to its progressive and innovative work in promoting diversity and inclusion policies within the firm, supporting the development of women in the profession and implementing programs to enable women to pursue long-term careers in the legal industry, as well as offering flexible work environments and family programs to support a healthy work-life balance. In addition, our partner Ana Maria Arrarte was named "Latin American Litigator of the Year" and our partner Maria del Carmen Tovar was named "Latin American Arbitration Lawyer of the Year" for their leadership in their fields and for their positive impact on the legal profession.

Our Inclusion and Diversity Partner, Ines Baca, along with Ana Maria Arrarte, attended the in-person awards ceremony in New York on June 8. Commenting on the award, Ines said: We are proud and grateful to have received these awards from Women in Business Law. This honor not only celebrates our achievements in D&I as a firm, but also reinforces our firm belief that diversity is fundamental to our success and growth. It is a recognition that belongs to all those who promote our culture of inclusion and diversity in all facets of our work every day. Each of us, in our own role, makes a valuable contribution that enriches our environment and allows us to create a safe workplace where we can reach our full potential. We remain committed to fostering an increasingly inclusive legal profession."

Our Managing Partner, Juan Carlos de los Heros, said, "It is an honor and a privilege to be recognized by Women in Business Law. We are very grateful and proud. These recognitions are the result of years of hard work, dedication and commitment by each of our team members. They also inspire us to redouble our efforts and continue to lead the way in promoting diversity and inclusion through sound practices and policies. We will continue to foster an environment where all voices are heard, valued and respected; and to build an organization that reflects diversity and promotes equal opportunity for all.
