Estudio Echecopar, member firm of Baker & McKenzie International, advised TRE Perú SAC, a member of Tozzi Green, in the acquisition of Parque Fotovoltaíco Iquitos, a Peruvian company developing a solar energy project with a capacity of 20 MW in the Peruvian Amazon from a Spanish company and two local individuals. The photovoltaic plant shall generate clean energy for the biggest thermic isolated system (70 MW) of the Peruvian Amazon.
The team that advised TRE Peru was led by Ines Baca and Ines Vazquez, partners and Uldarico Ossio, mid-level associate.
TRE Peru represents the operating arm of Ergon Peru, a company that seeks to increase electrical coverage throughout Peru through the installation of off-grid photovoltaic systems, and is responsible for all equipment installation photovoltaic nationwide.
