The Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations has opened a new call for companies to participate in the certification process called "Empresa Segura, Libre de Violencia y Discriminación contra la Mujer" (Safe Enterprise, Free of Violence and Discrimination Against Women).
This certification recognizes companies with the best practices in terms of gender equality in employment and gives benefits in the recruitment processes with the state to companies with the best results.
Companies have up to 30 March 2022 to register and participate in this new edition of the certification process.
What is the "Safe Enterprise, Free of Violence and Discrimination against Women" certification?
It is a certification issued by the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations that recognizes companies that have implemented within their organizations and in their communities concrete actions to promote gender equality and the right to a life free of violence.
What criteria are evaluated for the granting of certification?
Four general criteria are evaluated:
What benefits do companies obtain with a positive participation within the framework of this call?
Companies that pass the evaluation by the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations and obtain a score of at least 60 out of 100 points will be able to use the "Safe Company, Free of Violence and Discrimination against Women" certification for a period of two years. In addition, they will benefit from an additional score in the evaluation of their offers in the processes to contract with the state, according to the documents of the standard procedure approved by the OSCE.
To participate in the process, companies must prepare and submit a file with documents proving compliance with the evaluation criteria detailed above, in addition to participating in a review process by the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations. The latter can be done face-to-face or remotely.
