Since the beginning, we have advised the most important companies of the sector which allow us to be extensively renowned not only of the regulatory framework of these activities, but also of the business per se, which facilitates the understanding of our clients’ needs and the sector problematic itself.

On the other hand, our experience has been enriched with our participation in the Government contract business and in the drafting of suggestions and legislative amendments which have consolidated the participation of foreign investment in the country, due to appropriate tax treatment as well as legal stability to important investments required by the hydrocarbon business, both on the exploration and exploitation stage.

It is worth mentioning that several lawyers have actively participated in the drafting of legal norms regulating this sector activity and still do from the different practice areas.

With respect to Gas, since the concession of Camisea natural gas exploitation was awarded to the private sector, we have represented one of the consortium winning bidders. This project is on commercial exploitation stage and currently, it is the most important of the country.
