Regulation on environmental issues have become important, not only for the regulations issued and for different reasons such as the creation of the Ministry of Environment, the important and magnitude of natural resources exploitation activities, but also for the gradual and sustained incorporation of other economic sectors to the compliance of environmental standards and formal obligations (permits, licenses and declarations) before the authorities of the corresponding competent sectors. In this practice area, we have extensive experience advising both companies dedicated to the exploitation of natural resources (mining, hydroelectric, gas and oil) and industrial, chemical, agriculture and several projects of urban development.
The work of this area has been recognized in the publication “PLC Which lawyer?” of year 2009, ranking us among the most outstanding lawyers of Peru.
