We were in charge of the problem solution concerning the Civil Code application, especially on the legal act, family law, inheritance law, rights in rem, law of obligations and contracts law.
The members of this area have participated in the resolution of complicated inheritance cases and have advised banks and financing companies for the application of rights in rem, particularly regarding the furnish of pledge and creation of mortgages.
However, the most important participation of our Law Firm is on contracts matters, both in the consulting and defense and arbitral procedures. We have participated in a regular basis on the later, both as arbitrators and counselors.
Some members of this area have actively participated in the preparation of the Peruvian Civil Code of 1984 and they currently participate in amending the same.
