We understand in great retail the banking Business, the transactions carried out and the problems the banking officers daily face.

We provide advice on the interpretation and application of the Financial System Law, as well as the different legal provision regularly issued by the Superintendency of Banking and Insurance and AFP, and the Central Reserve Bank of Peru.

We have experience in the organization, authorization and establishment of new local banking entities. Regarding merger and acquisitions of companies of the financial system, we have participated in the most important local transactions.

We have extensive management in transactions structuring and restructuring companies' liabilities.

In addition, our practice also includes restructuring liabilities of transactions of indebtedness agreements, syndicated loans, leasing, among others. Therefore, we combine new and creative structures joining traditional guarantee restructuring strategies and loan schedules, structuring of assets issuance based on the portfolio and sensitive assets, with the creation of trusts of different kind on assets, such as security trusts, among others.

Likewise, our extensive experience in this sector allows us to advise on structuring procedures of transactions never performed at the local market; and therefore, they require a special dedication and knowledge.

In recognition to the work and effort of the area, the international publication "PLC Which lawyer?" edition 2009, put us as leaders of the Banking Law in Peru.
